Tornado Tower is an iconic 50-storey tower in Doha's West Bay. Its lobby required a technology presence to match the building's stature: high-quality video walls that could serve dual purposes as both digital signage displays and live news and media streaming endpoints. The design also needed to comply with strict fire and safety regulations.
Technology selection: PLANAR video wall technology with off-board electronics.
Onelan NTB media players, CMS, and IPTV streaming boxes for content management and live channel delivery.
Dual lobby installations, each comprising an 8x2 screen configuration.
Off-board electronics selected for minimum heat signature and energy efficiency.

Two lobby video wall installations (8x2 screens each) using PLANAR display technology with off-board electronics. Onelan NTBs provide content management and scheduling, with Onelan IPTV boxes enabling live media streaming and news channel playback across the displays.
