Scope
Studio renovation with LED video walls and AV systems
Northwestern University in Qatar's newsroom, home to an editing suite, graphics room, and voice-over booth, required a technology upgrade to meet the standards students would encounter in professional environments.
Narrow-bezel LCD video walls were selected for their exceptional visual quality, minimising distracting borders between panels to deliver an immersive broadcast backdrop.
Electronics were designed off-board to reduce heat generation within the studio environment and maximise long-term system reliability.
The new systems were integrated with NU-Q's existing editing and graphics infrastructure, ensuring a seamless transition for faculty and students.
Large, high-resolution LED video wall systems with off-board electronics, selected for their narrow bezels and ability to deliver high-quality visual content. The installation brought the studio to a professional standard.
The renovated newsroom has become the flagship production environment for one of Qatar's most respected journalism programmes. Students now train and produce in a facility that matches the professional environments they will enter after graduation.
